This former railway station served the village of Bluntisham and Colne. Station buildings including the station masters house, booking office and waiting room area are still in existence today, but as a residential dwelling. A goods loop was provided to the east of the station with goods sheds alongside the track, there was a signal box opposite the goods loop on the up side of the track. The station officially opened in 1878 as part of the Ely to St Ives line and later closed to passengers in 1931.
